Vapi is an Indian city located at the southern end of the state of Gujarat, along the river Damanganga and at the west part of the country. With a population of 150,000 inhabitants, the city is recognized as an important industrial center, although it is certainly a significant destination for tourism in the area for, among other things, its proximity to the Arabian Sea.

The options for tourism in Vapi include parks as GIDC Garden or Ramlila Garden, ideal places for exercise or for family visits, and religious buildings as Ambe Mata Temple. But the main attraction for tourism in the area are the nearby beaches of Daman, among which are Fisherman's beach and Jampore beach, with beautiful turquoise waters and fine white sand. In Daman tourists also can enjoy a nice walk in the Princess Park or visit the Fort of St. Jerome built in the sixteenth century or the jetty located in Damanganga riverbanks to end the day watching an amazing sunset. The city is an ideal place to savor Gujarati cuisine, mostly vegetarian and a with an unique blend of sweet, salty and spicy flavors.
