Power in Haryana (State)

Haryana is a state of India situated in the north of the country bordered on the north by the states of Punjab and Himachal Pradesh, to the west and south by Rajasthan, and to the east by Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand separated by the Yamuna River. Currently the state's population exceeds 25 million inhabitants, while in the past its territory was inhabited by various nations as the Indus Valley and the Vedic Civilizations before becoming part of British India.

Haryana offers numerous options for tourism because of its important cultural heritage, natural landscapes and historic buildings and monuments. The Haryanvi food is another reason to visit the state for tourism. Its cuisine is characterized by the simplicity, but always with the goal of enjoying each flavor of their meal. Typical dishes include Besan masala roti, Bathua raita, Singri ki sabzi and Tamatar chutney, among others.
